At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Better analyze global issues by taking distance and reflection time, in order to build an advocacy campaign to defend the rights of people in street situations.
  • Strengthen methodological innovation and general practices in their approach of social street work from a pool of knowledge created through peer-to-peer exchange.
  • Advocate for the recognition of SSW as an essential front-line profession.

Valbona Hystuna is a Resource Person of Dynamo International Social Street Workers Network. She works for ARSIS NGO in Greece since 2003 for the protection and the integration of the minors on the move. She is the Head of the Youth Support Center of ARSIS in Thessaloniki. In that framework she develops training sessions for child protection and child’s rights to professionals and youth as well. She, also, is member of the Citizenship Commission in the Region of Central Macedonia (Northern Greece) as Representative of the National Committee for Human Rights.
