The association was set up in October 1999 by a small group of professionals working in the field of street work in French-speaking Switzerland, who wanted to meet and exchange ideas with their peers. It is open to anyone – professionals or volunteers working on the streets and/or in people’s homes – who respects the ethical principles of social street work. To date, it has around fifty members from all the cantons of French-speaking Switzerland, and meets for four to six exchange days a year.
