Since the beginning of the new millennium, hundreds of street workers from all over the world, committed to a strong ethic, have been forging links and developing new forms of international solidarity in the face of the difficulties experienced by disadvantaged populations, particularly young people. These forums for encounters and emerging knowledge encourage dialogue, openness and reflection on a profession that is still struggling to establish its credentials.
