  • Cyprus: Union of Cyprus Municipalities
  • Spain: Catalonia, the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia
  • In Georgia: Adjara
  • In Italy: Sardinia and Valle d’Aosta
  • In Portugal: Azores and Madeira

WHO CAN APPLY?

To obtain a grant for the Eurodyssey internship programme, you must meet all the following conditions:

  • Be domiciled in the Brussels-Capital Region
  • Be a citizen of one of the Member States of the European Economic Area or have access to the labour market
  • Be registered with Actiris as an unemployed job seeker
  • Have a clear and realistic professional project in the field of the work placement and demonstrate the added value of mobility in the context of a return to employment in Brussels
  • Be no more than 30 or 35 years old at the time of departure (depending on the region chosen).

Please note: as applications are subject to validation, submitting one does not automatically guarantee that you will receive a grant.

THE BENEFITS

  • A local contact will be able to guide and help you throughout your placement.
  • Most regions arrange for trainees to take a language course on arrival. This can be either an intensive course lasting 3 or 4 weeks before the work placement, or a longer course running concurrently with the work placement.
  • The host regions will help you to find accommodation once you have arrived. Most regions provide accommodation for the first month.
  • Healthcare/repatriation and civil liability insurance is provided by the host region (although you must remain covered by your mutual insurance company in Belgium).
